{"id":5190,"date":"2017-08-28T09:27:53","date_gmt":"2017-08-28T08:27:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/aqualisoffshore.com\/?p=5190"},"modified":"2017-08-28T09:27:53","modified_gmt":"2017-08-28T08:27:53","slug":"aqualis-offshore-completes-ichthys-venturer-fpso-station-keeping-job","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abl-group.com\/abl\/all-media\/news\/aqualis-offshore-completes-ichthys-venturer-fpso-station-keeping-job\/","title":{"rendered":"AqualisBraemar completes Ichthys Venturer FPSO station keeping job"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>28<\/strong> <strong>August 2017 \u2013 Marine and offshore engineering consultancy AqualisBraemar has successfully completed its position keeping role for the <em>Ichthys Venturer<\/em> FPSO which is now fully moored in Australian waters.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On 14 August, operator INPEX announced that the <em>Ichthys Venturer<\/em> FPSO had arrived in Australian waters, 220 kilometres off the north coast of Western Australia.<\/p>\n<p>Aqualis has since then managed the position keeping procedure and provided position keeping masters offshore while the FPSO was secured with a 21-line mooring system.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Ichthys Venture<\/em>r FPSO is 336 metres long and will be permanently moored on a turret for the life of the project, about 3.5 kilometres from the field\u2019s central processing facility (CPF), <em>Ichthys Explorer<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>AqualisBraemar\u2019s Singapore office provided the position keeping services as a sub-supplier to POSH Terasea Offshore Pte Ltd. POSH Terasea Offshore Pte Ltd managed the successful 5,600-kilometre towage of the <em>Ichthys Venturer <\/em>and\u00a0<em>Ichthys Explorer<\/em> from South Korea, to the Ichthys Field.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cIn June, we successfully executed the position keeping job for the Ichthys Explorer CPF, the world\u2019s largest semisubmersible platform. Now we have managed the position keeping of the 336-metre Ichthys Venturer FPSO.
