13 March 2017 \u2013 AqualisBraemar has been contracted by Aibel to conduct human factors analyses for a number of the EPC contractor\u2019s ongoing projects on the Norwegian continental shelf.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Under the contract, AqualisBraemar\u2019s risk management specialists will conduct human factors analyses of Aibel\u2019s work on the Snorre Expansion Project, the Dvalin project and the Oseberg Vestflanken 2 project. Contract value is undisclosed.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cEssentially, we will cover<\/span> <\/em>the end-user perspective throughout engineering and suggest changes where we see that there is room for misunderstanding or improvement. These are highly effective methods of reducing operational risk and removing as many potential safety critical operator errors as possible. We possess specialist knowledge within this field, and we are pleased that Aibel has opted to utilise this to the benefit of both Aibel and their customers \u2013 Statoil and DEA Norge\u201d<\/em>, says Bj\u00f8rn H\u00e5vard Br\u00e6nden, director \u2013 Norway & Europe, AqualisBraemar.<\/span><\/p>\n

AqualisBraemar will mainly be integrated in Aibel\u2019s engineering teams. The work will be executed by AqualisBraemar\u2019s Norwegian operation.<\/span><\/p>\n
