LOC London has enhanced the specialist expertise of its shipping services division with new hire Diego Cerquenich.<\/p>\n
He is a Master Mariner with more than 15 years of sea going experience and command experience on panamax and handy size dry bulk cargo vessels. \u00a0He has worked on dry cargo, container, heavy lift vessels, passenger ships and chemical tankers and also has shore based experience as a marine terminal operator for containerised cargo.<\/p>\n
Diego joins LOC\u2019s specialist shipping services division from a marine and survey consultancy role where he has worked with P&I Clubs and law firms.\u00a0 His most immediate consultancy experience has covered disputes around navigation and VDR assessments, fumigant gas escape, cargo hold cleaning, water ingress, bunker disputes, speed and consumption issues, dangerous cargo handling, tug capsizing and the stowage and lashing of break bulk and project cargo.<\/p>\n
Based in LOC\u2019s London office, Diego will travel internationally to support LOC clients wherever necessary.\u00a0 LOC\u2019s shipping services division covers marine casualty work, accident investigation, claims, disputes & litigation and surveys.<\/p>\n
