LOC in collaboration with Drydocks World, Dubai, the international service provider to the shipping, offshore, oil, gas and energy sectors have launched a new training course for professionals working in the maritime industry in Dubai and the wider Middle East.<\/p>\n
The Ship and Ship Repair Facility Familiarisation Training Course, has been developed to give a valuable first-hand knowledge of different aspects of the industry, including a practical understanding of deep sea and offshore units, ship repair facilities and port operations.<\/p>\n
The first course which runs in March, will be open to professionals who have no direct experience of ships or ship repair facilities, but have indirect dealings with these important facilities through their job roles.<\/p>\n
The new Ship and Ship Repair Familiarization Training Course is two and half days of practical experience structured around presentations by experienced mariners, engineers, surveyors and ship repair experts.\u00a0 The course will include tours of ships, oil rigs, working ports and the largest ship repair facility in the Middle East.<\/p>\n
