The portfolio has a combined total capacity of 214.9&nbsp;MW \/ 429.8 MWh, using Tesla\u2019s 2-hour Megapack system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The scope of work is to provide ITE services as set out by NGESO for important BESS revenue streams: Dynamic Containment (DC), Dynamic Regulation (DR), Dynamic Moderation (DM), Firm Frequency Response (FFR) and the Capacity Market (CM).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ABL is assessing the financial commitment and substantial completion milestones (under the CM) as well as providing witness certificates (under DC, DR, DM and FFR) for the portfolio of projects; Broadditch (11 MW \/ 22 MWh), Farnham (20MW \/ 40 MWh), Rusholme (35 MW \/ 70 MWh), Bumpers Farm Phase 1 and Phase 2 (99&nbsp;MW \/ 198 MWh) and Little Raith (49.9&nbsp;MW \/ 99.8 MWh).<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/abl-group.com\/abl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Aimee-Besant_0296-002.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-28575\" width=\"252\" height=\"378\" srcset=\"https:\/\/abl-group.com\/abl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Aimee-Besant_0296-002.jpg 500w, https:\/\/abl-group.com\/abl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Aimee-Besant_0296-002-200x300.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 252px) 100vw, 252px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Founded in 2010, Harmony Energy is one of the UK\u2019s leading developers, owners and operators of utility-scale battery energy storage, as well as other renewable energy technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&#8220;It is a pleasure to work with such an established developer in energy storage, among other renewable technologies. Furthermore, we are really happy to have the opportunity to apply our skills to one of the strongest BESS project pipelines in the UK.&#8221;<\/p><cite>Aimee Besant, ABL&#8217;s Energy Storage Lead <\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>As the UK accelerates development of renewable energy technology, the integration of BESS technology is increasingly important for a number of reasons. Firstly, BESS acts to support the grid by balancing green energy supply with variable demand, providing complex services to maintain overall system stability and security in what are currently unprecedented times. This will reduce costs to the consumer by improving the efficiency of the grid and mitigating the variability of wind and solar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, there is a knock-on effect for renewables: BESS can improve the efficiency of renewable energy generated by ensuring as much energy is captured as possible and can also unlock future development of renewables, thereby helping to meet critical net zero commitments.
