Nikos Benetis<\/a>, (Director, Financial Institution Advisory & DD Services), represented LOC at the Marine Money London Shipping Finance Forum, held in London\u2019s Dorchester Hotel, on Wednesday 24th<\/sup> January.<\/p>\n

It was our first venture as LOC to this event and it was great to meet up with so many friends and partners and to also have the opportunity of creating new relationships within the wider industry.<\/p>\n

The theme of the day was \u2018Optimism and Opportunity\u2019, presentations and panel discussions centred on the offshore, dry, wet and container sectors with the focus being on both market fundamentals and the financing of these of these industries.<\/p>\n

The panel sessions were moderated by law firm partners and brokers, and complemented by senior executives and MDs of European, Asian and North American banks, PEs, funds and alternative financiers groups. The forum provided us with an excellent insight into the industry and gave us an opportunity to send a clear message that we are proactively involved in the shipping and offshore finance industry, listening to all the concepts, concerns, optimism and requirements of the various stakeholders.<\/p>\n

It further strengthens our firm belief, that LOC\u2019s wide and varied technical knowledge, expertise and global network can effectively support our partners with the successful realisation of their investments<\/strong> by supporting them in all phases of their investment strategies (pre-entry, existing exposures, exit).<\/p>\n
