Innosea<\/a>,\u00a0a leading engineering, design and R&D consulting firm specialising in marine renewables<\/a>, has expanded its footprint with an office in Marseille<\/a>, France, to ramp up its service offering in the Mediterranean.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new office will support Innosea\u2019s existing portfolio of offshore wind<\/a> and floating solar<\/a> projects in the south-east region. It will also support the French Mediterranean\u2019s growing portfolio in marine renewable projects and other carbon-reducing and energy transition initiatives in both energy and maritime sectors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Innosea provides a range of specialised engineering, design, analysis and R&D services to support the development of offshore and floating wind, floating solar photovoltaics, wave energy, tidal energy<\/a>, and hydrogen power projects. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are excited to grow the Innosea footprint to France\u2019s 2nd<\/sup> largest city, and not to mention one of the country\u2019s major maritime hubs \u2013 Marseille. This move represents Innosea\u2019s commitment to growing where we are needed in the marine renewable space. The Marseille operation adds to Innosea\u2019s existing office footprint in Nantes, France, and in Edinburgh, Scotland. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new office will be run by Benoit Briere<\/a>, senior project manager at Innosea, which is part of Oslo-listed AqualisBraemar LOC ASA. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
