Wayne\u2019s appointment is an important part of LOC\u2019s expansion plans for its <a href=\"https:\/\/loc-group.com\/services\/loss-management\/marine-casualties\/hull-machinery\/\">Hull &amp; Machinery division (\u201cH&amp;M\u201d)<\/a> in the <a href=\"https:\/\/loc-group.com\/offices\/middle-east\/dubai\/\">United Arab Emirates<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Wayne has more than 15 years\u2019 experience in the maritime industry. Wayne began his career as an apprentice in marine engineering and progressed quickly to a Chief Engineer. He has gained technical experience at a number of companies in South Africa, including Hartmann Offshore, Smit and Svitzer.<\/p>\n<p>Wayne will be based in the <a href=\"https:\/\/loc-group.com\/offices\/middle-east\/dubai\/\">Dubai office<\/a> and joins LOC Middle East\u2019s existing H&amp;M team \u2013 Andy Speed, and <a href=\"https:\/\/loc-group.com\/our-people\/joe-astorina\/\">Joe Astorina<\/a>, who are also supported by LOC\u2019s global H&amp;M operations, with hubs in London, Singapore and Houston.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/loc-group.com\/our-people\/cris-partridge\/\">Cris Partridge<\/a>, Regional Director at LOC Group, commented: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe are excited to welcome Wayne as Marine Engineer to expand our offering out of the Middle East. <\/em><em>Wayne brings considerable knowledge and experience of ship repair, dry-docking and offshore and salvage operations.
