{"id":17206,"date":"2020-02-17T11:16:09","date_gmt":"2020-02-17T11:16:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/localhost:3000\/?p=7653"},"modified":"2020-02-17T11:16:09","modified_gmt":"2020-02-17T11:16:09","slug":"loc-awarded-multi-year-contract-for-lng-canada-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abl-group.com\/abl\/all-media\/news\/loc-awarded-multi-year-contract-for-lng-canada-project\/","title":{"rendered":"LOC awarded multi-year contract for LNG Canada Project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>LOC Group recently signed a multi-year contract with LNG Canada to provide <a href=\"https:\/\/localhost:3000\/services\/loss-prevention\/marine-warranty-survey\/\">Marine Warranty Surveyor (\u201cMWS\u201d)<\/a> services and <a href=\"https:\/\/localhost:3000\/services\/loss-prevention\/surveys-inspections-audits\/vessel-assurance\/\">Vessel Quality Assurance<\/a> on the project.<\/p>\n<p>LOC will oversee the transportation of more than 200 modules being shipped to the construction site, from fabrication facilities in Asia.<\/p>\n<p>The project includes the design, construction and operation of a natural gas liquefaction plant, utilities, storage facilities, as well as port construction with marine off-loading facilities and shipping. When completed the LNG Canada Project will become the first Canadian terminal to export LNG overseas. The project is located at Kitimat, a coastal community in northern British Columbia, approximately 650 kilometres northwest of Vancouver.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/localhost:3000\/our-people\/ewan-browell\/\">Ewan Browell<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/localhost:3000\/offices\/americas\/halifax\/\">LOC Canada<\/a> Managing Director, commented:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe are very pleased to be working on the LNG Canada Project.
