primary&nbsp;objective&nbsp;of the work was to quantify spatial and temporal salinity increments&nbsp;relative&nbsp;to the receiving environment.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The study combined detailed&nbsp;meteo-oceanographic analysis with advanced numerical modelling to estimate expected salinity increases resulting from outfall operation and to assess the potential risk of recirculation between the intake and discharge points.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The results supported both the environmental evaluation and the technical validation of the submarine outfall design, contributing to informed decision-making and sustainable operation of the system.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\"
