Our auditing work will support ABP\u2019s commitment to continuous improvement in marine safety and maximising performance and availability for all of their 21 ports,\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>says Daniel Wood, ABL\u2019s director of <a href=\"https:\/\/abl-group.com\/abl\/maritime\/ports-and-harbours-engineering-consultants\/\">ports and harbour services<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The audit programme will be conducted over the next three years, commencing in Southampton in July 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A team of ABL\u2019s specialist ports and harbours consultants from across the UK will perform the audits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ABL also delivers <a href=\"https:\/\/abl-group.com\/abl\/loss-prevention\/marine-surveys-inspections-and-audits\/\">marine auditing services<\/a> to ensure compliance with international maritime regulations such as MARPOL and SOLAS as well as local marine regulatory requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cOur auditors are proficient in industry-standard audits, and are qualified to conduct safety, security, and environmental audits across the maritime sector. This project will strengthen and highlight our commitment to the safe and compliant running of ports both nationally and internationally,\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>adds Daniel Wood.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Adam Northover, Group Marine Manager for Associated British Ports, said <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cSafety is a core foundation for ABP and we are fully committed to the highest standards of safe and compliant marine operations.
