What keeps you on your toes?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:auto 33%\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p>&#8220;As Operations Manager for <a href=\"https:\/\/abl-group.com\/abl\/consulting-and-engineering\/asset-integrity-management\/\">Asset Integrity Management<\/a> in the US, my days are a mix of strategic oversight and hands-on problem-solving. I\u2019m responsible for project delivery, supporting our consultants, and ensuring we\u2019re consistently meeting and exceeding client expectations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One moment I\u2019m reviewing data from a recent facility inspection, and the next I\u2019m collaborating with our global teams on resource planning or technical strategy. What attracted me to the maintenance and reliability space was its potential to improve performance across multiple manufacturing and energy sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I enjoy digging into the details, helping clients extend asset life, avoid failures, and build systems that work better over time. There\u2019s a deep sense of purpose in knowing that our work helps keep people safe and businesses running smoothly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-can-you-tell-us-about-something-exciting-you-are-working-on-right-now\">Can you tell us about something exciting you are working on right now?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Right now, I\u2019m supporting a client as they build out their Mechanical Integrity Program for a brand-new facility. It\u2019s an exciting opportunity to be involved from the ground up helping shape the programme\u2019s structure, establish inspection protocols, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. It\u2019s a great example of proactive asset management, and I\u2019m proud to be part of setting them up for long-term success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-from-your-perspective-in-asset-integrity-management-what-emerging-opportunities-or-technology-do-you-see-shaping-the-future-of-the-energy-and-maritime-sectors-in-the-usa\">From your perspective in Asset Integrity Management, what emerging opportunities or technology do you see shaping the future of the energy and maritime sectors in the USA?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>There\u2019s a real shift happening as industries embrace digital transformation. Technologies like IT\/OT convergence, AI, and Asset Learning are paving the way for smarter, more predictive maintenance strategies. We&#8217;re moving away from reactive fixes and towards intelligent systems that can learn from data and anticipate issues before they occur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> This has huge potential not just for reliability, but also for sustainability and safety particularly in the energy and maritime sectors, where the stakes are high.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-beyond-the-work-what-s-your-favourite-part-about-being-part-of-the-abl-group-team-in-houston-any-fun-team-moments-you-d-like-to-share\">Beyond the work, what\u2019s your favourite part about being part of the ABL Group team in Houston? Any fun team moments you\u2019d like to share?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Our Houston team is a blend of expertise and camaraderie. We work hard, but we also know how to enjoy ourselves whether it\u2019s in-office team lunches or offsite team-building events. It\u2019s a supportive environment where everyone brings something different to the table. Those shared moments, both professional and personal, really strengthen our dynamic and make collaboration feel effortless.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-if-you-could-change-one-thing-about-your-industry-what-would-it-be-and-why\">If you could change one thing about your industry, what would it be and why?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If I could change one thing, it would be the level of attention given to what I call the \u201cright to operate\u201d \u2013 the concept that a robust and well-maintained Mechanical Integrity Program isn\u2019t just a nice-to-have, it\u2019s a necessity. These programmes are critical for protecting people, the environment, and the business itself.
