“Right now, it\u2019s a bit of a balancing act, finding new Ports and Harbours business opportunities around Australia while still supporting work back in London, where I was based before returning to Brisbane.”<\/p>\n<\/div>

What drew you to the maritime world and what keeps you passionate about it?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

As a civil engineer, I specialised in Ports & Harbours<\/a>, which naturally led me into the maritime world. The power of the seas continues to inspire me, it\u2019s incredible how the oceans touch everyday lives globally. In so many ways, we are all connected by energy and oceans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Can you tell us about something exciting you are working on right now?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Over the past few years, I\u2019ve been involved in port infrastructure developments supporting offshore wind<\/a>, electrification<\/a>, alternative fuels, and carbon capture. I\u2019m excited to now bring my experience from the UK and Europe to projects across Australia and the wider APAC region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you could change one thing about the maritime industry, what would it be and why?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

I would like to see more focus on improving maritime infrastructure to support the growth and transformation needed for sustainable future developments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
