As a Senior Subsea Engineer with ABL London, my day-to-day activities are diverse and dynamic. I typically start my day by reviewing project updates and emails, assessing any immediate tasks or deadlines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I Collaborate with other teams and participate in meetings to discuss ongoing projects, share insights, and address challenges. My role also involves technical review of client\u2019s documents, procedures, and operations in compliance with industry standards and regulations.<\/p>\n<\/div> Site attendances is another key aspect of my job. I travel to onshore and offshore sites to witness load installation, maintenance, or inspection activities ensuring that all operations run smoothly and safely. During these visits, I collaborate closely with technicians and contractors, providing guidance and troubleshooting issues as they arise. My Inspiration to join the industry stemmed from my love for engineering and energy related matters. I was and I am still driven by my interest with technology and innovation, recognizing how improvement in energy solutions can transform lives and economies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n More importantly while growing up, I had the privilege of having a father who was actively involved in the energy industry and this further boosted my desire to join the industry haven seen him work on interesting project as he rose through the ranks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I am currently managing some few offshore MWS projects and one that is worth mentioning is the MWS scope for the Hook-up of Almirante Tamandare FPSO which is the largest FPSO to operate offshore Brazil and one of the largest in the world with combined number of 27 Rigid and flexible risers to be hooked up for phase 1 . It has been exciting having the opportunity to be involved in discussions and sharing my technical opinion and solutions to some of the challenges that have come up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the next five years I see offshore oil and gas operations expanding into deeper waters (3000m and above) \u00a0as more fields are discovered owing to advancement in technology (AI and machine learning) as well as more de-commissioning of existing offshore infrastructures as they are nearing their design life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I will try to implement policies driven by credible research on effectively reducing emission in host communities during production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I enjoy the fact that I have the opportunity to work on several projects and interface with several clients at the same time whilst also collaborating with wonderful colleagues from various offices and countries around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Position: <\/strong>Senior Subsea Engineer<\/p>\n\n\n\n Office: <\/strong>London Office<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hobbies: <\/strong>Playing Piano, and Basketball<\/p>\n\n\n\n Favourite movie:<\/strong> I love movies with intense suspense! e.g Prison Break!<\/p>\n\n\n\n At ABL, we are committed to delivering offshore subsea projects and interconnectors with the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
