I like to work on emerging technologies which is exactly what I get to do. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My routine involves reading research papers, running simulations, and writing up my findings. Also, I enjoy interacting with various teams, exchanging ideas and brainstorming solutions for my teams projects. &#8220;<\/p>\n<\/div><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"735\" height=\"987\" src=\"https:\/\/abl-group.com\/abl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/rakshita-headshot-photo-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-120683 size-full\" srcset=\"https:\/\/abl-group.com\/abl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/rakshita-headshot-photo-1.png 735w, https:\/\/abl-group.com\/abl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/rakshita-headshot-photo-1-223x300.png 223w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 735px) 100vw, 735px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-blue-color\">What inspired you to join your industry?<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My passion for how research translates into real-world impact inspired me to join the industry after completing my PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Also, at University of Glasgow, I served as a &#8216;Career Officer&#8217; in the PhD society so I was able to relate the research being carried out at University and the work carried out in the industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-blue-color\">Can you tell us about something exciting you are working on right now?<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the exciting projects that I am working right now is the offshore charging of batteries in e-SOV(electric service operational vessel). This work of mine contributes to the energy transition statement laid out by the ABL Group to drive renewable energy, carbon-reduction, and sustainable technologies across energy and oceans. I align with the ABL group&#8217;s core values, one of which is to seek the truth at the request of the clients. In my project, I am constantly required to seek the truth and I like this part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-blue-color\">What does the future look like in energy and oceans in Europe?<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The future is bright, Europe will be a world leader in the offshore wind industry! And it&#8217;s exciting to be a part of this industry and contribute towards it.
