LOC Group<\/a>, the premier international marine and engineering consulting firm, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded new contracts with SBM Offshore<\/a> to act as Marine Warranty Surveyor (\u201cMWS\u201d)<\/a> on two of their Floating Production Storage and Offloading (\u201cFPSO\u201d) Projects.<\/p>\n

The FPSOs will be deployed offshore Brazil and Guyana. LOC will provide MWS services for the transportation and installation operations<\/a> relating to the FPSO on one of the projects, and the FPSO topsides on the other.<\/p>\n

The design of both FPSOs is based on SBM Offshore\u2019s industry leading Fast4Ward\u00ae program. This incorporates the Company\u2019s new build, multi-purpose hull combined with several standardised topsides modules.<\/p>\n

These complex global projects follow two earlier FPSO projects, in which LOC also acted as MWS appointed by SBM Offshore. The LOC teams in London<\/a>, Singapore<\/a> and China<\/a> have been working closely with SBM Offshore\u2019s project teams, delivering a truly global fit-for-purpose solution to assist in achieving a timely and safe project delivery.<\/p>\n
