LOC Germany<\/a>, a subsidiary of LOC Group, the premier international marine and engineering consulting firm, has been awarded a Framework Agreement (\u201cFA\u201d) for Marine Warranty Surveyor (\u201cMWS\u201d) services by TenneT<\/a>, a leading European electricity transmission system operator (\u201cTSO\u201d).<\/p>\n

The Agreement is for one year, with the potential for it to be extended to a multi-year contract, of up to eight years. By being awarded this FA, LOC<\/a> has been successfully selected to a panel of pre-vetted providers of marine warranty survey<\/a> services to support the realization of several offshore grid connections.<\/p>\n

The FA is split into two packages (\u201cLot 1\u201d and \u201cLot 2\u201d) \u2013 supporting offshore operations for cable infrastructure<\/a> and for the substations. LOC is one of only a handful of companies selected to the panel of approved MWS providers for both packages.<\/p>\n

Emek Ersin Takmaz<\/a>, General Manager\/Naval Architect<\/strong> of LOC Germany, commented:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cThe award of this potentially multi-year Framework Agreement is a testament to LOC\u2019s reputation as a market-leading provider of MWS services<\/a> in Europe<\/a>. It also demonstrates the significant strides LOC Germany has made in the regional market, since being established in the Summer of 2019, as evidenced by the number of contracts we have been awarded across the Renewables<\/a> and Shipping<\/a> sectors.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
