Charlie has extensive first-hand experience of port and marine operations, having held senior roles spanning\u00a0marine management, pilotage, and regulatory oversight. His background includes service as Naval Advisor to the UAE Armed Forces and leadership at a global marine consultancy, where he directed multidisciplinary\u00a0teams delivering high-value consulting assignments across offshore energy, oil & gas, and international port projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This operational foundation is complemented by strong expertise in the design, implementation, and assurance of Marine Safety Management Systems (MSMS). Charlie has led numerous compliance assessments, risk reviews, and governance audits, with a particular focus on navigational safety, incident investigation quality, and the effective application of lessons learned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In his current role, Charlie supports port authorities, terminal operators, and infrastructure owners across Europe and West Africa. He works closely with Duty Holders and senior leadership teams to strengthen marine risk frameworks, enhance operational resilience, and demonstrate compliance with the PMSC.
