The growing presence in the market, coupled with decisive steps taken in the development of&nbsp;#hybridbattery&nbsp;technology,&nbsp;#fuelcell&nbsp;and other green&nbsp;#alternativefuel&nbsp;options for DP vessels, means the world of&nbsp;#DP&nbsp;has a significant role to play in the race to&nbsp;#netzero&nbsp;at sea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The attention remains on developing new technologies for alternative, low emission fuels such as Hydrogen, Methanol, Ammonia e.c.t. A key focus of the race to Net-Zero, is the use of hybrid power systems, combining multiple power supplies to run the vessels. This of course involves high level of complexity and requires both power and energy management systems to meet operational requirements of different marine vessels.
