It was a hard-fought outcome and, while it certainly falls short of what\u2019s needed to fully meet the climate challenge, it marks a significant step forward &#8211; particularly in the current geopolitical climate and amid the declining appetite for international cooperation. The agreement will now be tabled for formal adoption at the extraordinary MEPC session in October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The deal is undoubtedly ground-breaking, introducing a global price on carbon for the first time. It sends a clear market signal for investment in energy efficiency and low-carbon technologies. This presentation will cover the IMO\u2019s net zero framework, including its development, compliance options, practical implications, and next steps for the maritime sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The technical presentation will be followed by a Q&amp;A and a summary of last month\u2019s high-value maritime case reports, which will only be presented to attendees
