PAV and Asset Hierarchy build and Maintenance Alignment
Project location: Scotland
Client: Government services and marine shipping contractor
Duration: 6 months
Project overview
As part of the client’s ongoing Maintenance Management System upgrade to Maximo, ABL’s Asset Integrity Management team was requested to do a Physical Asset Verification (PAV) and build the Asset Hierarchy for 5 Vessels based in Scotland.
Once this was completed, the client requested that ABL map the existing Planned Maintenance routines to the new comprehensive hierarchy.

- Inconsistent asset hierarchies that required standardisation across all vessels.
- Outdated Master Function Hierarchy.
- Maintenance accuracy and routing issues.
- Multiple Planned Maintenance Routines for 1 job
